Shelter is one of the basic human needs in the society. It highly reflects the socio-economic development of a country. As a rapidly developing country, the need of the hour right now in India is to focus and explore the numerous possibilities of developing the housing sector. Considering the fact that India is the second most populated country in the world, we cannot ignore the tremendous scope of development available in the housing sector. It would not be wrong to say that “Housing is a Sunrise industry”. To reduce the gap between the demand and supply in this sector and to give housing a top priority, the Government of India announced the National Housing Policy in the year 1988.

In our effort to contribute to the society, Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Limited has evolved as a major home grown entity in the housing sector in the North Eastern part of India. We are deeply humbled to have been able to turn the dream of owning a home to a reality for many people in Manipur. With the objective of “Housing for All by 2022”, the Government of India, on 17th June 2015, rolled out the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme. As a part of the initiative, we are providing CLSS loans to the people of Manipur. We deeply appreciate the Government of India and the NHB (Central Nodal Agency) for the support in the smooth implementation of CLSS by providing streamlined policies and swift processing of subsidy that benefits our end customers.
